The Social

Urbani design was engaged by Delaware North, to design The Social at Perth International Airport, a contemporary café and bar, combining hospitality expertise with retro-inspired interiors. The project features a curved central bar with terrazzo tops and earthy tiles, cozy banquette and booth seating with textured fabrics and retro vinyl, layered materials including walnut timber, brick walls, and olive-green accents.

Key zones include a café counter with integrated merchandising, a bar area with timber screens and hanging greenery, a live music space, and a ‘Listen & Lounge’ area with illuminated vinyl displays and headphone stations.

Designed for travellers, families, and friends, The Social creates a welcoming, connected environment within a high-traffic airport terminal.
